Friends of Wadi Foquin invites you to an online zoom forum....

Wednesday, October 27, 2021
10 a.m. PST/1 p.m. EST/8 p.m. Palestine

Ata Manasra
Director Narjes Community Development Project
Greg Adams
Legislative Director for Congresswoman Barbara Lee
Samantha Schifrin
National Security and Senior Policy Advisor for Congressman David Price

Congresswoman Barbara Lee and Congressman David Price issued a letter to the State Department requesting
intervention for the Palestinian village of Wadi Foquin where land confiscation is planned for the construction of
a road cutting through the eastern portion of the village.  A total of 20 other congressional offices signed on to
the letter, and the action has generated major media coverage in the West Bank, (see attached letter)

In the meantime, 5 farmers in Wadi Foquin have been issued demolition orders for properties which include
homes, water cisterns, a compost facility and an agricultural storage house for beekeeping equipment.

Join us as we receive "on the ground" updates from the village, progress reports on our efforts to avert land
confiscation and property demolition, and  plans for continued community action and advocacy to
Save Wadi Foquin
